Blown In Fiberglass Insulation to R38 Level in 1900 Sq. Ft. Home in Clovis, CA

Hrach reached out to Tyson because he wanted to keep his home more comfortable. His home was noticeably colder in winter and warmer in summer. Because of this, his heating and cooling costs were higher because he constantly had to run his HVAC system. We came out and inspected his attic and found that his insulation was extremely low with only about two inches present. We determined that an insulation upgrade would best help him to reduce his heating and cooling costs and make his home more comfortable.

We began by air-sealing visible leakage points. We then blew in premium, fiberglass insulation to a height of 14 inches, bringing the attic to the Energy Star-recommended R38 level.

As a result of the insulation upgrade we performed, Hrach and his family will now enjoy a warmer home in the winter, a cooler home in summer, and reduced heating and cooling costs by up to 30% for the life of the home.
