1300 Sq. Ft. Home Gets Insulation Upgrade to R38 with Blown In Fiberglass in Dinuba, CA

Joseph contacted Tyson Energy Solutions because he was looking to reduce his heating and cooling costs. The previous homeowner had removed all of the old insulation but never replaced it, leaving the home feeling hot and stuffy during summer and frigid during winter. When we came and inspected his attic, we discovered that the attic was indeed bare. We determined that an insulation upgrade to R38 was Joseph’s best option to help reduce his bills and keep his home comfortable.

We began by air-sealing visible leakage points. We then blew in premium fiberglass insulation to an R38 level, bringing the attic to the Energy Star recommendation for our Central Valley climate.

As a result of the work we did, Joseph and his family will now enjoy reduced heating and cooling costs by up to 30% and a more comfortable temperature in their home year-round.
