Blown in fiberglass to add insulation to R38 in Visalia, CA

This Visalia homeowner was referred to us by another company because their attic was drastically low on insulation. We inspected the space and found that there was only about four inches present. The homeowner decided to have us perform an insulation upgrade — or add insulation to bring the attic up to R38, the Energy Star-recommended level for our climate.

To upgrade the insulation, we first air-sealed any visible leakage points to helpl prevent airflow between the attic and the home’s living spaces. We then blew in ten inches of premium fiberglass insulation.

As a result of the work we did, the homeowner will now experience reduced heating and cooling costs up to 20% and a warmer, cozier home during winter and a cooler home during summer.
