Attic Insulation - Insulation Upgrade and Attic Fan Customer Testimonial in Madera, CA

Marc contacted us because of his uncomfortably hot house and high energy bills. We inspected his attic and found that his insulation was low, falling well below Energy Star standards. We ended up upgrading his insulation and installing an attic fan and the results were dramatic.

We began by installing the attic fan, a QuietCool roof-mount solar attic fan to help keep the attic cool and aid Marc's HVAC system in its efficiency. We also air-sealed visible air leakage points to further aid in insulating the home from the attic's heat. We then brought him up to an R49 level by blowing in premium, fiberglass insulation to a depth of 17 inches. We also ensured that all soffit vents were cleared so that the attic had proper ventilation and so that the attic fan could operate efficiently.

Marc noticed a drastic result. Not only did his home become cooler and more comfortable, but when he received his first energy bill after the work we did, his bill was $500 lower than it normally was.
